A monthly open mic with selected author readings on the second Sunday of each month, presented in partnership with African-American Writers' Alliance.
It's About Time Writers' Reading Series
A monthly series featuring author readings and open mics. The 335th meeting features readings from the Open Books Poem Emporium Writers group that includes Gabrielle Bates, Kym Littlefield, Erin McCoy, Alexander Moysaenko and Abi Pollokoff. Billie Swift will give a short lecture on the writer's craft.
An informal monthly gathering for listening to and reading poetry aloud. Attendees should bring a few favorite poems. This is a feast of poetry, not a food event.
