Free drop-in health care counseling at the Beacon Hill Branch Library
Get advice on your health care options from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. on the first Thursday of every month at The Seattle Public Library, Beacon Hill Branch, 2821 Beacon Ave. S.
The program is free and open to the public. Registration is not required. Free parking is available in the Library parking lot on the west side of the building.
A counselor who speaks Mandarin, Cantonese and English will be available for one-on-one meetings on the first Thursday of the month. No appointment is required, and counseling is available on a first come, first served basis. The counselor can assist with: health care options, medical billing, Medicare, Medicaid, Basic Health, issues with private insurance, or other issues related to paying for health care. Times and dates for 2014 are listed below.
